On August 2nd, 250 people came to the 2nd Annual Preschool Palooza at the Children’s Museum of Cleveland. During the event, families were able to talk to the high-quality preschool providers in the city and had free admission to the museum’s exhibits. A number of community partners were also at the event to share resources with families. Attendees received dinner, giveaways, and prizes.
The activities at the event supported kids learning through play. The outdoor activities included blowing huge bubbles, drawing with sidewalk chalk and playing corn hole. Inside, the kids explored the many exhibits throughout the museum including the Wonder Lab where they played with whirlpools, water jets, and magnets; Adventure city, a life-like city built for little people to explore; a collection of dollhouses; and a Lego building area. The Cleveland Museum of Art’s mobile art studio, Studio Go, led art lessons with the families where they made paint print creations that they could take home with them.
