PRE4CLE Joins National Early Learning Leaders to Discuss the Future of Preschool in American Cities

PRE4CLE attended two events with national partners in November to participate in a dialogue regarding the future of early learning policy in America, and the role of cities and communities in accelerating the pace of innovation and growth for our youngest students.

The first event, hosted at the American Enterprise Institute, brought together 20 leaders from communities leading the nation in the development of preschool initiatives. This event focused on how communities can balance the advance of preschool with the needs of all young children birth-5.

The second event, hosted by the Dallas Foundation, brought together 19 cities from around the country to talk about how we can accelerate early learning innovation, funding, and collaboration at the local level, and to share ideas with a broad network of leaders. Cleveland’s team consisted of partners from PRE4CLE, The George Gund Foundation, The Cleveland Foundation, CMSD, and Cuyahoga County.
