PRE4CLE Wraps Up Another Successful Enrollment Campaign

PRE4CLE just completed its 2018 Enrollment campaign with strong results, including 70 more children enrolled in high-quality preschool by the end of September, compared to September 2017. A variety of tactics were used to reach families across Cleveland and encourage them to enroll in high-quality preschool. 2018 marked the first year that PRE4CLE focused on a year-round campaign that included digital and traditional media strategies as well on-the-ground tactics, including the first Preschool Palooza at the Children’s Museum of Cleveland and a new partnership with Public Square that allowed our recruitment staff to be a part of Summer Splash in the Square every Friday in the summer. We also saw increased web traffic, including more than 100 referrals generated through our online advertising and an updated website design that focused on simplifying navigation for families.

Again this summer, we set an early enrollment deadline of September 30th. Families that were enrolled by that date were entered into drawings for prizes. We distributed prizes to 22 families at preschools across the city. Prizes included Children’s Museum passes, Aldi gift cards, Cedar Point tickets, Dave’s Supermarket Gift Cards, and opportunities for preschoolers to appear on the WKYC Bus Stop Forecast. You can see photos of the families who won prizes on our Facebook page. Thank you to all of the generous donors for helping make this campaign possible.

As we look into 2019, we are excited to introduce another new event, Get PREhistoric with PRE4CLE at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History on February 2nd. Stay tuned for more enrollment updates!
