UPK Provides Scholarship Opportunities to Cleveland Families

This fall, families benefited from more scholarship opportunities in 18 new Universal Pre-K sites in Cleveland as a result of the implementation of the $22.8 million public-private expansion of Cuyahoga County’s Universal Pre-K Program (UPK). UPK provides scholarships to families up to 400% of the federal poverty level and provides support to preschool programs to strengthen their quality.

New Cleveland UPK Sites:

  2. Clark Elementary School
  3. The Early Childhood Center at Arbor Park
  4. Garfield Elementary School
  5. Horizon Child Development Center
  6. Market Square Horizon Education Center
  7. Murtis Taylor Child Enrichment Center
  8. Murtis Taylor at Kathryn R. Tyler
  9. Old Brooklyn Horizon Education Center
  10. Puritas Head Start
  11. Rainbow Terrace Head Start
  12. Ignatius Head Start
  13. Salvation Army-Ohio City
  14. Sunbeam Elementary School
  15. Willard Head Start
  16. William Cullen Bryant Elementary School
  17. William Patrick Day Head Start
  18. Willow Elementary School
